      John T. Hendrickson Dies Of Cancer He Was a Well-Known Farmer and Lived on the Turnpike Between Middletown and Keyport - His Funeral Held This Afternoon John T. Hendrickson, who lived on the turnpike between Middletown, and Keyport, died on Sunday of cancer of the stomach, aged 63 years. He had been sick since May. He was the son of Cornelius Hendrickson. The house in which he died was built on a part of the homestead farm on which he was born and on which he had always lived. His father lives at Matawan and is 85 years old. Mr. Hendrickson married Catherine Conover of Manalapan, who survives him. He also leaves two children. They are James H. Hendrickson, who lives across the road from his father’s late residence, and Mary Hendrickson, who lives at home. He leaves also three brothers and two sisters. They are William T. Hendrickson of Middletown, Samuel Hendrickson of Chicago, Edward Hendrickson, who when last heard from was in Dakota; Mrs. Richard Roberts of New Monmouth, and Mrs. Charles A. Geran of Matawan. The funeral was held this morning at eleven ‘clock at the New Monmouth Baptist church, of which Mr. Hendrickson was a member. Rev. W. V. Wilson conducted the service, assisted by Rev. M. M. Finch. The body was buried in Fair View cemetery. The pall bearers were John H. Willey, Benjamin Taylor, G. C. Morris, FitzRoy Walling, Henry Frost and Benjamin Griggs.
