  [S38] Hendricks, Andrew A. MD, Hendricks and Hendrickson Family of Monmouth County, New Jersey, (November 13th-14th, 2010), Desc. of Daniel Hendrickson p. 17. This Daniel Hendrickson was a Colnel of the 3rd Regiment of the Monmouth Militia. He was a land surveyor. Colonel Hendrickson represented Shrewsbury in the Provincial Congress of New Jersey in 1775. He owned a grist mill and saw mill near Tinton Falls which was attacked in a Loyalist raid as described in George Beekman's Early Dutch Settlers of Monmouth County. Lieutenant Auke (Okey) Hendrickson was killed during a counterattack during this raid. [S38] Hendricks, Andrew A.
