      ...Brother Nicholas Van Brunt £100 in trust ; paying the interest to my sister, Anne Winant, during her life; after her decease, he to have the £100; also 1/2 of remainder of real estate and personal, should wife marry again. Brother Cornelius's sons, i.e. Joseph. Nicholas, Hendrick amd Cormelius , the other 1/2 of remainder (Joseph and Hendrick being allowed the value of the buildings they have built on my land).
      Major Hendrick (Nicholas) Van Brunt named his brother's (Cornelius) sons as Joseph, Nicholas, Hendrick and Cornelius.

      Note: He does not join in deed conveying to Key Hoagland the lands devised to him and his brother by his Uncle Hendrick Van Brunt and named below. He retained his share of this land until 1815. For $712,00, he and his wife Mary then convey away all the land devised to him in will of his Uncle Hendrick Van Brunt dated January 27, 1794. Thus all the land left by Major Hendrick Van Brunt passed out of the family. (Refer to the Okey Hoagland notes) All the devisees under will of Major Hendrick Van Brunt join in this conveyence, except Joseph who retains his one-fifth share as above explained.
