She appeared in the census in 1830 in Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio (114). There are six people shown in the household but no mark shown for the female (Widdow). Perhaps the mark on the line below for a female aged 50-59 was misplaced. Eleanor would have been about 50. There are six children in the household: 1 male 5-9, 1 male 10-14, 1 male 15-19, 1 female 0-4, 1 female 10-14 and 1 female 15-19. She sold land on 15 September 1835 in Montgomery Co, Ohio to Jesse and Mary Kepler (111). Ellen Hendrickson sold for $20 "all of her right and estate of dower in a certain tract of land containing eight acres . . . of which her husband William Henderickson late of said County died seized, and to which estate of dower therein she is entitled as his widow.."
