1726, Aug A child of Teunke Hendricksen, wife of Jonathan Holms.
I have no idea which child this is. There are several children listed to Jonathan and Teunke Homes that are not listed in the bapt. registers. William is named in the Will of Jonathan Holmes dated 6 Sep 1766 but Obadiah is not. George C. Beekman in The Early Dutch Settlers of Monmouth Co., NJ states that Obadiah was Jonathan's oldest son and a Obadiah Holmes Sr. and Jr. witness the will which may have been Jonathan's son or his brother. However since William is named first in the will and Obadiah is not metioned at all, then one has to wonder if William and Obadiah were the same individual. Beekman does not mention William.
