The Geesje Carteny who witnesses this 10 dec 1718 baptism was probably Geesje Van Dyke the wife of Owen Cartney. Annatje Eckle the mother of this child was probably Geesje's 1st Cousin. If this isn't Geesje Van Dyke then she was certainly married by the 5 Apr 1719 when she with her husband Owen Cartney witness the baptism of her niece Eliabeth daughter of her brother Abraham Van Dyke.

Geesje is also cited as having married Nicholas Van Brunt the son of Rutgers but she was probably confused with Geesje Hendrickson the dau. of Hendrick Hendrickson and Trynetje Van Dyke.
