The identity of Fanny is not known at present. She married Culbert Means Leany of Simpson Co., KY in 1833 and was reputed to be the widow of Randolph Hendricks of York Parish SC by whom she had twin sons James and Randolph. However, any documentation for this union has been located. There was a Randolph Hendricks who lived in Philedelphia PA that had a son named Randolph. And some data bases list Fanny and Culbert's marriage as occuring in PA. Fanny lists her birthplace as NC on the 1850 and 1860 Simpson Co., Census Records. Nothing is listed in the IGI for a Fancis Young from NC. It is more likey that she was the d/o Randolph Gibson Young who moved from Pendleton Co., SC to Warren Co., KY in 1809. He lived next to John and James Hendricks according to the 1810 Warren Co., Census.
