Daneil was probably the brother of Charles Bilderback who lists his birth place as PA in the 1850 Census. There were several Daniel and Charles Bilderback families in Washington and Beaver Co PA. [S14] 1850 United States Census Images, (Ancestry.com), Cass Co., MO. Dist 16, Im 19 of 134. Mary Bilderback is listed in the household of Elisha Hendrix with her brother John Rider. So it is assumed that Daniel had passed on or left Mary to go to California. [S26] The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, International Genealogical Index (R), (FamilySearch™ International Genealogical Index v5.0). Mary is listed as May B. Rider in this record but later records such as the 1850 Census indicate that this was Mary Rider as a Mary Bilderback is listed in the Elisha Hendrixs household next to John Rider her brother.
