      Samuel may have been a twin to Phoebe (D10). The DAR registry of North
      Carolina Revolutionary War Soldiers lists a Samuel Hendricks who enlisted in
      1782 from the Hillsborough district--the same district where Albert (D05) also
      enlisted in the North Carolina Militia. A Samuel Hendricks is found in the
      1800 census of Hillsborough District, Randolph County, NC. These entries may
      or may not refer to this Samuel.

      IGI states birth as "abt 1770; of Rowan, NC."
