William Hendricks married Charity Robinson on December 21, 1756 at Tennent Church in Tennent, NJ. She was the daughter of James Robinson and Charity Van Dyke. James Robinson was a prominent merchant and had emigrated to Freehold in 1727 from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Their daughter, Charity Robinson, was baptized at White Hill (later Tenneant Church) on Monday night, February 5, 1738/39 according to her mother's New Testament Bible (text in Dutch, published in Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1719; property of Tennent Church). William Hendricks died on November 19, 1760 according to the Dutch Bible. His grave site is unknown. His wife, Charity Robinson, susequently married Abraham Jones on August 22, 1771 and later Richard an ter. She was buried at the Old Baptist Church graveyard in Freehold, Monmouth County, NJ although her grave can not be presently located.
