MD, sells parcel, Pleasant Plain, on west side of new wagon road out in the head of a hollow that leads to Ten Mile Creek, M&B given for 100 acres, Signed by mark, Thomas Hinton before Tho. Price, J.       It was a custom to name children after grandparents shortly after their death. Both Henry Hendricks and Abraham Hendricks Jr. named daughters after their mother Charlotte in 1822 So it is very probable that she died around 1822.

      Abraham was not a Rev. War Solilder nor was he buried in Simpson Co., It is thought that his first wife Charlotte is buried at the New Hope Cem.
