Samuel Hinton, carpenter, recorded 10 Jan 1764, made 9 Jan between Thomas Hinton Senr. of FC, carpenter, for 33 pounds, 7 shillings and a penny, with the interest thereon, cm. It was a custom to name children after grandparents shortly after their death. Abraham was not a Rev. War Solilder nor was he buried in Simpson Co., It is thought that his first wife Charlotte is buried at the New Hope Cem.
