Joseph Jones McCraw owned land on the Tennessee side of Drakes Creek in Sumner Co., while Sarah's parnets Abraham and Charlotte Hendricks owned land on the Kentucky side of Drakes Creek in what was then Simpson Co. and apparently the McCraw home was bulit right on the KY-TN State line. Several of the McCraw children list Kentucky and Tennessee as their birth place at differnt times on the different census records.

Elizabeth and Andrew Yource are listed directly above the John S. McCraw household of Cass Co., MO., wich includes the mother Sarah McCraw, the widow of Joseph McCraw. Andrew is listed as age 45 and being born in TN and Elizabeth is listed as age 28 also born in TN. Andrew and Elizabrth are listed on the 1860 and 1870 Census listings for Independence MO., and despite the differnces in ages it is evident that they were living togeather and it is also evident that Elizabeth cold not have been the mother Andrew's children who were older and born in TN. Since this Elizabeth is the right age to have been the daughter of Joseph and Sarah McCraw and since she probably was also living next door ito the Yource family in the 1840's, it is very possible that Andrew married Elizabeth McCraw after the death oif his first wife sometime after 1840. It also appears that no children were born to this union.
